The Antonio Drej Project is named after Antonio Ferri and Andrej Oravec, two European immigrants who arrived in America in the early 1900's. Both went through the US Port of Arrival at Ellis Island, located in New York City and eventually became US Citizens.
They arrived, by themselves, in their youth to pursue achieving their American Dream. They had to learn the language and customs to belong and survive. Growing to young adults, they found their individual identity, even while working in the densely populated workforce of the industrialized sector. Growing to adulthood, they found an awareness of being . Growing to Middle Age, they created the stability for the next generation. Finally, growing to being a Senior citizen, they established the integrity and wisdom to pass down to future generations of La Bella Verita (Italian for The Beautiful Truth).
The Antonio Drej Project is your project. The project is envisioned to be a collection of inspirational thoughts and quotes from everyday people, preferably belonging to the Baby Boom Generation (1946-1964) or older. Anyone from this generation or older, generally has the integrity and wisdom to pass down to La Bella Verita.
